So today was the first day of Getting Fit in 30 Days. Getting Fit in 30 days is a challenge I have created to see if it is possible to get the body that all the ads advertise. If you haven’t read the first post on this challenge you can find it here.

The program I am using is a combination The Truth About Abs program supplemented exercise methods I have learned doing various martial arts and sports.I am not allowed to exercise more than 5 hours per week and can not use a gym or any expensive equipment. Which according to program I am using is actually a good thing, as most machines stabilize the weight and reduce the amount of work your body has to do.

As you can see the equipment I am using is pretty simple. A pull-up bar, a push-up bar, stretch bands, ad a balance ball. Stuff that can be found just about anywhere.

Today I started with variations of pull-ups, lounges, sit-ups, and hanging crunches. Since this was day one, I only worked out for about 25 minutes, but I have a feeling I am going to be sore tomorrow.

The amazing thing is that I already feel better. Since I had a stopped working out completely since I decided to do this about a week ago, my body was tired after the exercise but my mind feels focused and clear. The real challenge will be to keep on schedule and make sure to do enough to get in shape.
