This last Sunday everything just seemed to work out perfectly. The rain let up and the sun came out, it was a very low tide, and so we headed out to visit “The Pumpkin Cave”. A cave to which the entrance is usually underwater and can only be entered during very low tide.
Inside there is a waterfall that has created some unique rock formations resembling a pumpkin. Okay, enough talk already. Here’s the video!
Since first moving here to Miyakojima, I have done quite a bit of snorkeling and taken a lot of underwater pictures. You can find some of the examples here: The Scuba Island. And even though my camera can shoot HD, I haven’t really shot many videos. So this last, I went snorkeling at a place called Maja and shot a few small videos and put them all together.
This is basically my first time shooting video underwater, so it isn’t perfectly smooth, but I will get better. Let me know what you think. (YouTube is still rendering the video so it may take time for the quality to get better.)
