I just realized that in order to leave comments you had to register for the site. I have changed that setting and apologize for anyone who wanted to leave a quick comment. I am not a big fan of needing a registration for every site. Thanks to those of you who decided to sign up as users. This blog has been a blast so far to write and I hopefully look forward to more comments now that the barrier is down.
I found this recent TED Talks video of Rick Smolan (a photographer for Times Magazine) presenting an amazing story about Amerasian girls. Rick Smolan’s presentation says more than I ever could so here it is.
Wordpress 2.6 recently came out and I decided to install it last night using simple scripts. For some reason there was an error and I was unable to install. I tried several times, and eventually realized it wasn’t gonna work. Luckily, Bluehost has great chat support and they were able to fix the problem for me. Not only did they do the installation and fix the problem (which included deleting about 10 large backup files over 7gb each), but also apologized for the length of time it was taking and kept me informed of the progress the whole time. Great service usually doesn’t come with a cheap price so i am quite impressed. At this point hopefully there are no more problems.
