I found this recent TED Talks video of Rick Smolan (a photographer for Times Magazine) presenting an amazing story about Amerasian girls. Rick Smolan’s presentation says more than I ever could so here it is.

This is an amazing story. War is such a terrible event, at least some good did come out of it.
The story does turn out great. I have several friends who have grown up in similar situations (though not as hard as this one) and it can be very difficult for them.
